All required environmental permit (e.g. Discharge monitoring), approvals and registrations are to be obtained, maintained and kept current and their operational and reporting requirements are to be followed.
Review operations to determine any unidentified impacts to :
- Air emissions
- Generation of waste (solid and hazardous)
- Hazardous materials storage and use
- Wastewater discharge
- Storm water exposure
- A document process is in place to ensure permits are renewed before current permits expire
The use of resources and generation of waste of all types, including water and energy, are to be reduced or eliminated at the source or by practices such as modifying production, maintenance and facility processes, materials substitution, conservation, recycling and re-using materials.
